Welcome to the Mile High Project
The Mile High
Project is an initiative of the Rocky Mountain District, LCMS.
Pastor Paul and Jackie Roggow, and their sons, Micah and Evan, have
moved to Colorado to lead the project, which is divided into two
phases.
In phase one Paul will serve as a church planting missionary for one to
two years at churches in the Denver Metro and Front Range of
Colorado. Paul will intern for three months at each Colorado
location during the internship phase. He will also visit three to
four churches around the country in between his
local internships in Colorado. Paul and Jackie will be coached by
national and local church planting leaders. Near the end of phase
one of the Mile High Project the Roggow family will settle in an
area of the Denver Metro in order to build momentum and to connect
with local
partners for the launch of a new church.
Phase two of the project will be the official launch of a new church in the Denver Metro, which will God-willing also start other churches and serve as a training ground for church planters from across the country.
